The edge tape has melting glue added to the underside.

After applying the edge tape to the edge, the tape needs to be trimmed.

It can be trimmed with a sharp chisel or a dedicated edge banding knife.

Maple veneer goes very well on plywood birch boards.

If we capture this, we get the effect of a massive piece of wood.
