Shinwa Fit Gear tape measures are manufactured to JIS – Japanese Industrial Standards. The tape is made of carbon tool steel which is first powder coated in white paint, then another layer of nylon coating is applied. Thus, the tape is very resistant to wear and will serve you for many years.
The body of the Shinwa Fit Gear tape measure fits very nicely in the palm of your hand. Rubberized edges additionally ensure good grip and resistance to damage.
The special feature of these tape measures is that the tapes are marked with a scale on both sides, which comes in handy when measuring vertically. See image 4.
