Sadolin Extra wood varnish is a durable wood coating that is applied over Sadolin Classic wood stain. It provides long-lasting protection against weathering, mold, and harmful UV rays. Flexiguard™ technology creates a flexible protective coating that expands and contracts with the wood. Sadolin Extra contains waxes that repel water and extend the durability of the protection and the wood.

Sadolin Extra wood varnish is most often used to protect doors, windows, and other wooden surfaces that require high protection against weathering.

Sadolin Extra is applied in one to two layers. Between applications, 16 to 24 hours should pass. The varnish is dry to the touch in 4-6 hours.

Sadolin Extra does not need to be diluted and is ready to use. It can be applied with a brush or roller. Do not apply the stain if rain is approaching or if the air humidity is higher than 80%. The optimal temperature for application is between 8 °C and 25 °C.

The final color and shine of the coatings depend, among other things, on the type of wood, the color, and the presence of an existing coating. Before starting work, we recommend a test application on an invisible area or a scrap part. Always mix Sadolin paints and stains well before use to ensure even color.
