A Drawknife is a two-handed tool for shaping wood. Using it is relatively easy. With some practice and the correct direction of the cut (along the grain), shaping can become a pleasure. The drawknife is suitable for rough or fine shaping of wood, as well as for removing bark. It can be used to smooth uneven parts on the workpiece or shape the wood into irregular shapes. For an even finer, two-handed finish, you can use the Spokeshave tool.
The blade of the drawknife is made of high-quality, tool steel, which is suitable for shaping both softwood and hardwood. The handles are made of oak wood.
