Drawer runners Metalbox – side height 86mm.

Metalbox drawers are easy to use and can be used to assemble a custom drawer.

They can be installed into any type of furniture as long as it has 115mm space in heigth.

To assemble the drawer you need a wooden bottom, back side and front panel.

In order to get the correct dimensions of the bottom and the back side, the following must be done;

You precisely measure the internal width and depth of the element and determine which length and height of Metalbox suit the element. You then subtract 31mm from the inside width of the element to get the exact width of the wooden bottom and subtract 2mm in length from the length of the Metalbox, to get the exact dimensions of the wooden bottom of the drawer. That means that the bottom of the drawer is 31mm narrower than the inside width of the element and 2mm shorter than the length of the Metalbox.

For the back side you also subtract the width of 31mm, and the height is determined by the height from which you subtract the thickness of the bottom side. E.g. drawer height 86mm – 16mm (thickness of the bottom side) = 70mm.

An additional soft close brake is also available for Metalbox drawers.

The 500mm depth metalbox can be upgraded with a pair of railings.
