The dovetail saw is made with a special back reinforcement that gives the saw blade a rigid support, for stable, straight cuts. The saw blade is made of Japanese high-carbon steel, with razor-sharp teeth sharpened at an angle of 14°.

The saw has a wooden, polished handle, designed to fit comfortably in the hand. The mortise and tenon joint between the handle and the back of the saw ensures the rigid stability of the joint.

The Veritas dovetail saw is very popular among craftsmen, as the results with it are more than good.
