Versatile carpenter’s knife, also useful in schools due to its compact blade and included plastic case.
This tool has been forged in the town of Mora in Sweden for over 400 years.
It is this model, the Mora Knife, was developed by Erich Frost more than 100 years ago and is synonymous with functionality and reliability.
Most Mora knives are forged from rolled, 2.5mm thick traditional 3-ply carbon steel.
They are distinguished by very good grinding abilities and hardness of the core 61 HRC according to the Rockwell scale.
To maintain the fine granulation of the steel, castings are not added, so the blade is not stainless.
The carving knife has a blade planted along the entire length of the birch handle.
