The Button Fix Type 3 panel mounting bracket provides an excellent method for easily connecting parallel panels on walls and ceilings. Its straightforward push/pull mechanism makes it perfect for wall and ceiling panels, boat interiors, acoustic panels, upholstered panels, and other panels in tight spaces where sliding fixing is impossible. Made from durable PBT with an acetal button, these robust fixings ensure long-lasting performance.

The Button Fix Type 3 is mounted on the back of one panel, with the button affixed to the other. This design allows the panels to be pushed together until they click into place. The button’s flexible fingers center the screw and allow for slight adjustments to accommodate any tolerance. It is recommended to use pan head or flange head screws for optimal results.

These Button Fix Type 3 panel mounting brackets can be surface-mounted or semi-rebated. Four fasteners can support up to 60kg on a vertical panel and up to 10kg on a ceiling panel, provided that the screws and substrate are properly matched and instructions are carefully followed. The Button Fix Type 3 creates the same installation gap between panels as the Type 1 Fix, allowing them to be used together. Manufactured in the UK, the Button Fix Type 3 measures 47.2mm in width and 45.2mm in height, while the button is 18.7mm in width.

The Button Fix Type 3 invisible bracket can be mounted on the surface of the panel, creating an 8 mm gap between the panel and the wall, or a hole can be drilled in the panel, reducing the gap to 3 mm. See pictures 4.
